Why does DFFL exist?

Don’t Follow False Leads was born from a personal frustration at seeing so many misleading or unsupported news articles being passed around. We got into too many ‘discussions’ on social media where people used unchecked or straight out false stories to support their arguments.

Not everyone has the time, or willingness to do their own research. So thats where the DFFL steps in.

We do our best to provide detailed links, references and sources to either support or invalidate today’s hot headlines. Together we can share the burden of truth, and lift each other up.

Sadly we have had to bring the site back online given the current political climate out there. We do not affiliate with either side, but we stronly disagree with a lot of the insanity that is taking place in 2025.
