Over $100,000 raised by Muslims in support of Jewish Cemetery

Communities coming together to fight a common cause.

This story really doesn’t need fact checked, but we wanted to share it, to try and put some positive thoughts out there. After a Jewish cemetery, Chesed Shel Emeth Society in the St. Louis suburb of University City, was vandalized, Linda Sarsour a Muslim woman from Brooklyn launched a fund raiser to help repairs.

Within 3 hours, her initial goal of $20,000 was met. After just 24 hours over $80,000 had been donated. At the time of this writing, with 25 days still remaining, over $116,000 has been donated.
Seeing this strong and immediate support is good for everyone’s souls. This is where we can find the hope together that we all seem to be in need of these days.

Through this campaign, we hope to send a united message from the Jewish and Muslim communities that there is no place for this type of hate, desecration, and violence in America.
